The Victorian Bell Arch fireplace was often found in the main drawing rooms in the middle class houses of the period. There were various designs, from a simple style such as this to more elaborate, which may include carved panels or carvings on the keystone and corbels.

This fireplace is made from Carrara marble and comes with a Italian black slate hearth, included in the price.

The Victorian Standard fireplace was a regular feature in parlours of terraced houses, or in the children’s or servant’s quarters of grander dwellings of the period. They can also be found made from slate with a marble effect panel or occasionally made from stone.

Victorian Corbelled 1/12th (1") scale.
The Victorian Corbelled style is another fireplace that took pride of place in parlours and dining or drawing rooms in the middle class Victorian house. They were usually made from Carrara marble, but I have seen examples of ornately carved Corbelled fireplaces made from Statuary marble in more aristocratic homes.

This fireplace is made from Carrara marble and comes with a Italian black slate hearth, included in the price.

Victorian Cast Metal Insert 1/12th (1") scale.
This is a Victorian cast matel insert which I have adapted to fit the Victorian Standard and Victorian Corbel fireplaces above. They are cast from white metal by Phoenix Models to a very high standard, and the detailing is excellent. It is also supplied with glowing coal effect.

Victorian Corbelled 1/24th scale.
This is my first 1/24th (1/2") scale Victorian Corbelled fireplace. I am working on other designs in this scale, and will be adding them to the website over the coming months.

This is a Victorian cast metal 1/24th (1/2") scale insert which I have adapted to fit the Victorian Corbel 1/24th scale fireplace above. They are cast from white metal by Phoenix Models Developments and as with all their models are made to a very high standard.
