Tudor 1" scale
The centrepiece of a merchant's town house, or country manor house, this fireplace preceded the large scale importing of marble and shows how local stone continued to be used for private building. A personal touch was often added in the form of coats of arms, insignia such as oak leaves, roses, lilies or even the initials of the head of the household.

This fireplace is made from Monks Park Bath stone with a the hearth made of brick, but these were often made of the same stone as the fireplace. A limestone hearth and delivery is included in the price.

Baronial 1" scale

Victorian Gothic; as a status symbol of nineteenth century aspiration this chimneypiece has it all: coat of arms, blind tracery, castellations, pilasters, stylised leaves, and even bears. Made from Richmont Cream limestone which was used extensively for internal carved stonework in churches and large country houses, this harks back to the medieval period and echoes Pugin in its design.

This is made out of four pieces of stone due to its size and complexity. A limestone harth, in five pieces, is included in the price.

When placing an order (by chicking the "Buy Now" button) you will asked for a 50% deposit with the balance payable prior to delivery.
